Taking on or selling of a commercial premises
brings with it its own complexities
The most common form of occupation of commercial premises is by way of a Lease.
Leases are just contracts, like any other contract, for the occupation of land for a
certain period of time subject to certain terms and conditions and like any other contract,
you need to read and understand it before you sign it. We are able to advise both tenant
or landlord during these negotiations.
The terminology that is used can be particularly confusing and often the law will dictate
what the parties can and cannot agree.

If notices need to be served then time limits will more often than
not
apply and if these are not followed then problems can b e created that may be difficult to
get out of.
